Really good staff made a difference
The staff's friendliness added warmth.
The pillows were a bit too thin for our liking and could use improvement. We found ourselves wishing for a window that opened fully. The fresh air would have been nice.

We had a lovely room, with a fine view of the river and the skyline of the city.
A bar with a view of the river would be nice.

There's no on-site bar or restaurant, meaning after a long day, you'll need to venture out for dinner-a bit inconvenient. The continental breakfast could use a more varied selection. I found several items had run out by breakfast time. I also experienced inconsistent water temperatures in the shower, a little frustrating. The car park has early closing hours, limiting late-night outings, and I found myself dealing with noise from adjacent rooms-a tad disruptive for a good night's sleep. Finally, Wi-Fi connectivity fluctuated during busy periods, made accessing online information a hassle when the hotel was full.

This hotel was excellent; it was very clean, all of the staff were polite and helpful and the room was comfortable and the heating was at the right level throughout (the radiator was adjustable too). The breakfast was very good - I haven't seen a breakfast in a hotel presented as nicely!
Nothing - the only thing that was missing from the room was a toilet brush!

The hotel was in a very central setting near city centre free car parking. After long day I visited Woolshed Baa & Grill for a couple of drinks.

would love to return
The breakfast offered freshly cooked hot dishes like omelets and an extensive selection of cold options. Our double room had a tv, electric kettle, private bathroom with good water pressure, and plenty of toiletries. The super nice team, and the lounge area was nicely decorated. The location was perfect for visiting cafes and restaurants nearby.

Handy location within a short walking distance of the city centre and yet with good free parking. Allowed to check in early when we arrived at 1pm. Receptionist gave us a handy guide to Cork. Hotel is modern and has a lift. Room was nice and clean with view over River Lee. Curtains contained blackout blinds to keep out early morning light. Tea & coffee facilities in room were very useful. We knew there was no bar or restaurant from previous reviews but this did not matter. Anyway no bar, no noise at night! Breakfast was fine: we had muesli with yoghurt, prunes & dried apricots, following by a full Irish breakfast with filter coffee. Service was pleasant, polite and efficient at breakfast and reception desk.
TV was a little small and positioned in the corner of room, otherwise no complaints.

The complimentary chocolates and card for our anniversary were a good touch. The spacious and super clean room featured a superb bed that was great for my back. Amenities like only paper cups instead of crockery felt lacking, and I found the shower water temperature inconsistent, somewhat disappointing. Noise from other rooms also disrupted the peace we were hoping for .

Overall, this hotel was pretty good. The room was good size and clean and the beds were comfy enough. The location was very good. The price was good for what we got.
No food or drink facilities onsite but there are several options very nearby.

Location.
We got absolutely no sleep all night long. Our room was beside the lift and it didnt stop going up and down all night long. People were coming all night long and the noise from them was absolutely awful. Would never stay here again and would advise friends, family and colleagues not to either.

My previous experience in cork was nice, but this stay topped it. The room was spacious and clean with great amenities, and breakfast had fresh options like made-to-order omelets. The staff were very good, offering bottled water at checkout, a lovely touch.
